::: About Me :::

I grew up in Pomona, California and began making music at age 9.  Soon after I was 30 years old, attached to music in a very different way than expected.  Instead of playing the trombone or musical composition (which I was apparently 'destined' to do), I began listening to the sounds that surround us.  It began of course with influence from John Cage in my community college years, and increased exponentially from there.

Now my inspiration doesn't come so much from composing or performing, but rather sharing the odd and syncopated sounds of the "real world."

In addition to the ambient sounds of the world, I'm interested in a form of performance/composition called "Spontaneous Improvisation."  A supplemental project to keep me performing music involves getting together with fellow musicians and other types of performers, and having a "spontaneous jam session," which can involve more than just music - poetry and spoken word, dancing, painting, games and more.

You can find me on a couple other websites, including "Music Incogitatus!", a free improvisation ensemble I began in 2007, as well as CouchSurfing.Org, a web based travel networking site.

Special Thanks

I would like to thank my friends, family, professors and strangers that have either helped me in my journeys, or put me in my place.

Additionally, my website creation ability is somewhat limited, thus I am grateful for Weebly and Humyo, two service based websites that helped me put these sites together for free.
